http://haciendaparrillaalta.com/producto/blanco-hacienda-parrilla-alta-2015/?add-to-cart=580 • As this is a traditional village, please be respectful and dress appropriately. For girls, please do not wear clothing that is too skimpy or see-through or shorts that are too short. • Similarly, as there will be a bit of walking in the jungle, please bring appropriate footwear that is comfortable for such a trip. Hiking or sports shoes are recommended.
• Please also bring for yourself items such as sunblock and insect repellent as there will be mosquitoes and insects expected
• For those who might have a weak stomach, altitude sickness or require medication, please bring along your medication just in case as the nearest medical facility is an hour away by car.
• There will be no internet connectivity provided. For those who will like access to data roaming, please purchase a tourism sim card from any of the telecommunication providers. At present, AIS and Truemove seems to provide the best coverage across the area.
• Please also bring along your own toiletries including your own towels as they will not be provided
• Please purchase your own travel insurance. As a start-up business for the villagers, we do not have the capital to invest in expensive insurance packages to cover our guests in the event of injury
• Infants and kids below the age of 4 are not encouraged to participate in this tour as the amenities and food available might not be suitable for young children.
• If you have any dietary restrictions, please inform us prior to the tour so that we are able to make the necessary preparation.
• We do not encourage the purchasing of items to give to the villagers as gifts as this might have an impact on the mentality of the villagers if it happens on a prolonged basis.
